Barnabas Staff & Board of Directors

Tiffany Gaines began her journey with Barnabas Horse Foundation in 2016 as a volunteer, where her natural connection to both people and horses quickly became evident. Early on, she served as Barnabas’ Intake Coordinator, thoughtfully and skillfully guiding clients through their first steps into services—often during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

After a brief time away, Tiffany returned to Barnabas and continued to deepen her impact, most recently serving as Volunteer Coordinator and now stepping into the role of Community Outreach Coordinator. In this capacity, Tiffany serves as the bridge between Barnabas and the wider community—cultivating relationships, sharing the mission, and ensuring that survivors, partners, and supporters feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the healing work taking place at the farm.

An avid and accomplished equestrian, Tiffany brings a strong background in training, showing, and competing in both English and Western disciplines. Her deep understanding of equine behavior, paired with her calm, attuned presence, allows her to create safe and responsive environments where meaningful human–horse connections can unfold.

Tiffany is a certified life coach and is IFS-informed (Internal Family Systems), integrating trauma-informed, attachment-focused principles into her equine-assisted work. She is also a Natural Lifemanship practitioner, grounding her services in relationship-based, neurobiologically informed practices that honor both human and horse nervous systems. In addition, Tiffany is a Certified Victim Service Provider through the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, equipping her to serve survivors of trauma with compassion, skill, and integrity.

A dedicated wife and mother, Tiffany balances her family life with an unwavering commitment to Barnabas’ mission. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care inspire trust in clients, volunteers, and community partners alike. Whether she is welcoming someone new, supporting a volunteer, or representing Barnabas in the community, Tiffany embodies the heart of the organization—making her an invaluable advocate for hope, healing, and connection.
