Barnabas Staff & Board of Directors
Kathleen Dimuzio is a devoted Board Member and hands-on volunteer at Barnabas Horse Foundation—an organization that has become much more than a cause; it has become family. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kathleen now calls the Grand Strand home, where she lives with her husband, Mike, and their beloved pugs, FitzGerald and FionaGrace. From the moment she discovered Barnabas, she felt a deep and immediate connection to its mission, inspiring her to give generously of her time, heart, and energy in service to others.
Kathleen is a familiar and active presence at the Barnabas farm, frequently volunteering during the week and immersing herself in the daily rhythm of the organization. Through this hands-on involvement, she has witnessed firsthand the profound and transformative impact the therapy horses have on the individuals and families Barnabas serves. These experiences continually fuel her passion and strengthen her commitment to ensuring both the horses—and the healing work they support—are cared for and sustained.
As a Board Member, Kathleen is a strong advocate for fundraising and a dedicated supporter of the events that make Barnabas’ programs possible. She plays an active role in championing fundraising initiatives, building community engagement, and helping bring events to life that directly support the care and well-being of the therapy horses. Guided by gratitude and purpose, Kathleen is deeply committed to helping Barnabas remain a place of healing, hope, and transformation for the community for years to come.
