Barnabas Staff & Board of Directors

Jacquie Campman serves as the Executive Director at Barnabas Horse Foundation. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in private practice for the last 6 1/2 years.

She is an Advanced Certified Trauma Specialist and Consultant through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children. She is also amidst training with Natural Lifemanship for Trauma Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy; completing Fundamentals, Intensive and Immersion trainings thus far. Her favorite was the Immersion training with wild Mustangs.

Jacquie’s history, education and experience with horses made it a simple choice to include equine assisted therapy in her sessions with clients. Introduced to Barnabas through her work as a therapist for the Rape Crisis Center for Horry and Georgetown Counties, trauma focused equine assisted therapy became an integral part of her counseling practice. In private practice now, Jacquie is able to serve a larger population of those affected by trauma.

She remains connected to Barnabas and the modality that is so effective in bringing healing to so many within the community. Being able to become involved in the preservation of the integrity and strong mission of Barnabas as the Executive Director is an honor and a privilege. The Foundation holds a special place at Jacquie’s core and her desire to make the world a better place.
