Gina Casella grew up on Long Island, New York, before moving to South Carolina in the summer of 2021. She began her journey with Barnabas Horse Foundation as a volunteer in October 2022 and joined the team as an employee in October 2023.

Caring for the therapy herd holds a special place in her heart, allowing her to bond with the horses and learn from their wisdom. Gina is grateful for the opportunity to spend time outdoors, work with her hands, and be part of the incredible Barnabas community.

A faith-filled individual, Gina finds immense joy in both the people and animals she serves at Barnabas. In her free time, she loves crafting, baking, gardening, traveling, reading, and enjoying movies and music. The beach is one of her favorite places to unwind, and she cherishes time spent with family and friends. Gina’s dedication, creativity, and love for the healing connection between humans and horses make her an invaluable part of the Barnabas family.
